We Make

In 2015 the UK throw away 3.3 million tonnes of timber
with only 8% of that being recycled.

Personally we don’t think that’s good enough!

So we set out to see what we could do about it.
Unfortunately we can’t reform the waste management system but,
what we can do is to start using some of that material to its
full potential so we formed...

We Make What is We Make?

A place where we look to find that material, save it from being
thrown away and create inexpensive designer home furniture and
create the videos and guides so that you can do the same at
home!

The Five Hammer System

The Five Hammer System is the way we categories the projects. This is related to the skills and tools required to complete the project.

One Hammer = Basic tools & skills
Five Hammer = Advanced tools and skills

The aim of the system is to help people find projects which match their current skill level. At each level there will be different skills to learn, helping you progress and move onto the next level.
